Prediction of Satellite Channel Outage Due to Solar Interference
in Spring 2007
1. As the satellites as well as the earth revolve around the sun, there are times when the sun and earth are in a direct line behind a communication satellite. At this time, the solar noise increases, causing the reception level of satellite signals to decrease.
